Lou Hughes is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Beyonics International PTE, a top 50 global EMS company. Founded in 1981, Beyonics provides advanced precision engineering and manufacturing solutions for the Healthcare, Automotive, and Technology sectors. Beyonics has five manufacturing locations in four countries, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and China, with over 7,000 direct employees globally.
The company provides flexible product solutions for customers all over the globe in today’s complex supply chain environment. Beyonics possesses a vast range of in-house capabilities, including engineering and design (material & process), tooling, automation, complex and precision components manufacturing (plastics & metals), and end-product assembly.
Prior to his start at Beyonics, Lou worked in multiple leadership roles at Universal Electronics (UEI) for 15 years, ascending to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). As the COO, Lou ran global engineering, sales, manufacturing, and marketing. He spent two years in Hong Kong/China where he successfully relocated the majority of the company’s captive manufacturing out of the country and into Mexico and the Philippines in 2017/2018.
