• Meta Platforms (META) - Stocks in the social media space were sharply lower Friday morning following better-than-expected quarterly results but an uncertain outlook from peer in the space, Snap (SNAP). Shares of Snap traded down about 30% in pre-market action Friday; Meta and Twitter (TWTR) shares were down about 4%.
• Under Armour (UAA) - The company will report quarterly results in two Thursdays, on November 3. An analyst at research shop Telsey Advisory downgraded Under Armour shares Friday. The analyst showed concern related to the prospect of high inventory in the apparel space heading into 2023.
• Molson Coors (TAP) - A play on the beer sector. Shares of peer Sam Adams (SAM) traded higher Friday following its strong quarterly results. Molson Coors will report quarterly results on November 1.
• Pineapple Energy (PEGY) - A recent momentum play. The company's CEO, Kyle Udseth, will interview on Benzinga's "Live Trading" YouTube show next week on Wednesday. The interview will start around 11:05 a.m. EDT.
• Energy Focus (EFOI) - One of Friday's momentum stocks. Shares of this penny stock were up about 70% on no news. The issue is in low-float territory, with about 9 million shares in its float.
