In this episode, I share my thoughts and feelings after the recent layoffs at the Lighthouse For The Blind. The atmosphere at work has completely changed — it’s quiet, heavy, and filled with worry. People don’t talk much anymore, especially about those who were laid off. Everyone is scared, wondering who might be next.

I spoke with one of the guys who works in the warehouse, and he told me how slow things have become. We have plenty of products, but nowhere to send them. That makes everyone uneasy, not knowing what the future will bring.

For me, it’s hard not to think about what would happen if I lose my job too. Working here isn’t just about earning money — it’s about being part of a family. We’ve shared laughter, struggles, and tears together. Now, everything feels so silent. Losing a job feels like losing a piece of yourself, because it’s not just work — it’s connection, purpose, and community.
