"When I introduce myself I always say please utilize me as an extension of your team." "For example, since I am essentially selling lighting, I'll say let me take the lighting portion of the project off of your plate. You are dealing with bringing new clients in, billing, you're managing the client's expectations, deliveries like fabric, wallpaper, furniture, layouts, CAD drawings. Each designer or architect has so much on their plate. So I always kind of pitch myself as an extension of my client's team."
