Sid Sanyal was most recently the Head of Engineering at EigenLabs, the creators of the EigenLayer restaking protocol on Ethereum. Sid built the engineering organization from scratch and led all product development and research engineering functions at EigenLabs. Within 15 months, Sid grew the engineering org from 8 to around 30 people, and they shipped 3 testnets and 3 mainnets including EigenLayer and EigenDA.

Sid's career spans leading organizations in the USA, Australia, and Singapore, including top-tier technology companies such as AWS, Facebook, and Protocol Labs. At AWS, he was integral to the EC2 Networking and NoSQL database engineering teams, where he launched the AWS Quantum Ledger Database (QLDB) service, the first ledger database product built by AWS. At Facebook, Sid led teams that built the internal developer and data infrastructure tools to implement privacy controls across all products at Facebook.

In addition to his tech industry experience in the US, Sid worked as a technologist & Architect in the financial services industry in Australia and Singapore for major institutions such as ANZ Bank and Barclays.

Sid is dedicated to building engineering organizations that deliver key products to customers and the developer community while maintaining excellent operational health that helps build trust with users. He emphasizes meticulous design, rapid iteration, and a forward-thinking approach to engineering and security strategies.

Sid holds a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), where he was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Overall Student, and a graduate degree in Software Engineering from Macquarie University, Sydney. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys playing competitive recreational tennis and traveling.

Stacey-Ann is an engineer by training and a strategic business leader by experience. She is currently the Head of Web3 Business Development at AWS, where she works to scale web3 startups and VCs across Asia-Pacific & Japan.

Previously, she served as VP of BD, Head of Strategy, Product Researcher for metaverse, blockchain, and NFT startups in Mainland China, Hong Kong and Singapore. Before Web3, Stacey worked in investment banking, fintech and innovation across New York City, New Zealand, Honduras, and Jamaica.
