Cs: Karel a Petra kráčeli zasněženou krajinou Šumavy.
En: Karel and Petra walked through the snowy landscape of Šumava.

Cs: Stromy byly pokryté ledem a jejich dech se mísil s chladným zimním vzduchem.
En: The trees were covered in ice, and their breath mingled with the cold winter air.

Cs: Oba měli na tuto túru jiné důvody.
En: Both had different reasons for this hike.

Cs: Karel chtěl zjistit, co k Petře opravdu cítí.
En: Karel wanted to discover what he truly felt for Petra.

Cs: Petra si ale potřebovala uvědomit, kdo je mimo vztah.

En: Karel tried to find the right words.

Cs: „Něco se změnilo.
En: "Something's changed.

Cs: Nevím, jestli cítím to, co dřív,“ přiznal nakonec.
En: I don't know if I feel the same as before," he finally admitted.

Cs: Petra sklonila hlavu.
En: Petra lowered her head.

Cs: „Chápu.
En: "I understand.

Cs: Já to cítím taky.
En: I feel it too.

Cs: Potřebuju pochopit, kdo jsem,“ řekla.
En: I need to understand who I am," she said.

Cs: Konverzace se stala bouřlivou.
En: The conversation became stormy.

Cs: Všechny jejich myšlenky, které skrývali, byly teď venku na zimním vzduchu.
En: All the thoughts they had hidden were now out in the winter air.

Cs: Odkryli své nejistoty, strachy, přání.
En: They uncovered their insecurities, fears, and wishes.

Cs: Oba plakali, ale bylo to osvobozující.
En: They both cried, but it was liberating.

Cs: „Možná bychom měli zkusit být sami,“ navrhl Karel.
En: "Maybe we should try being on our own," Karel suggested.

Cs: Petra přikývla, slzy jí stékaly po tvářích, ale v očích měla pevnost, kterou tam předtím neměla.
En: Petra nodded, tears streaming down her cheeks, but there was a firmness in her eyes that wasn't there before.

En: "That's a good idea.

Cs: Můžeme zjistit, co opravdu chceme,“ řekla.
En: We can find out what we really want," she said.
