Compassionate loving requires that you love someone without expecting anything. It's giving knowing they cannot (so will not) reciprocate. It's a state of mind therefore you can love anyone and everyone. Listen with your heart. And ask yourself if you are capable of this kind of love.
... is to know how to love. Love is both a feeling and an action that expresses that feeling. When the two don't line up then the love comes into question. If you want to balance your spoken word with your doing word then keep listening and I'll show you how--to-love.
This episode is a challenge for you--whatever your faith practice--to be intentional about living the lessons you learn. That you will become more consistent in living the lessons you learn from sermons or related classes. That you will listen to these presentation as if the person is talking directly to you. That you will be come hypersensitive to the lessons that life presents to you while you go about you day. Finally, that you will be transformed forever by what you learn so that what you do is epitomizes what you've learned.
One of the greatest ways to say "I love you" to anyone is to listen carefully when they are sharing with you. If you have to let them know that you are not very good at it, that's fine. Just keep practicing until you get it. Believe me it will work. Then watch their reaction, you see exactly what I mean. Now listen as I share a few tips.
Practice is how we become better at anything. Representing who you are as a person of faith rests on your behavior. Yes, you're not the same person you were 10-years ago. But what does that mean and will the people around you say that's a good thing.? More importantly, can you without thinking about it, say that the way you behave reflects the spirituality you profess? I'm asking how well does what you say and how you behave line up? No judgment, because I have to attend to my own faith practices. Better question, "What do you do to better your faith practice? What I mean is what do you do to show your love for others? Ain't that's what faith life is about? Stay tuned. I got a few suggestions.
The Church as misrepresented Herself. She has shown us that She does not know how to love. She has failed us on so many fronts. But it's not too late. I have not lost hope. This podcast is my declaration of hope and love. It's my vow to the Churched and UnChurched --to teach you how to love. Interested? The teacher is ready. My hope is that the student is too. Listen up!
Love is not in need of love today; people need to know how to love
What the world needs now is not love sweet love, the world needs to be taught how to love
The UnChurched will lead the way to teach our fellow homo sapiens how to love.
The Church is decreasing that the UNCHURCHED may increase.
Today's podcast is to let you into my heart, my thoughts about God, and about learning lessons that will help you be the Godlike-ness.
1) There is more than one way to BE like God
2) Life is always teaching us lessons but to learn and live them is totally up to us. It's a matter of our will or desire to ACT.
3) Let's change ourselves to BE the God that is in us all!
