Amongst our discussion, we talk about her experience during the deadliest mass shooting on a U.S. military installation and how it impacted her and her family. This week, twelve years ago marks, the anniversary of this deadly event. On November 5, 2009, in central Texas, at Fort Hood, TX there was a deadly shooting rampage in which 13 people were killed and more than 30 others are wounded, nearly all of them unarmed soldier. This unfortunate shooting rampage was carried out by an U.S. Army officer, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, an Army psychiatrist.
