In this story, Uncle Wiggily the rabbit carries two magic bottles from Alice in Wonderland: one that makes things larger and one that makes them smaller. He first uses them experimentally to help a tiny Lady Bug become a more noticeable size, eventually getting it just right after making her too big and then too small. Later, while playing croquet with Alice and the Queen of Hearts, the Queen hits the ball so hard it breaks the enlarging bottle in Uncle Wiggily's pocket, causing the croquet ball to grow enormous and chase him. Following Alice's quick thinking, Uncle Wiggily splashes the shrinking water on the giant ball, reducing it to a harmless marble and saving the day.
