In this story, Uncle Wiggily the rabbit realizes he left his friend, the Grasshopper, behind after a bear scare and returns with the Bow-Wow puppy dogs to rescue him from where he was accidentally buried under dirt. After a brief visit to the dogs' grandpa, Uncle Wiggily and the Grasshopper continue seeking fortune and find a strange box-like house; ignoring the Grasshopper's warning, Uncle Wiggily enters, and the door slams shut, trapping them. While the Grasshopper escapes for help, the friendly owner, a Red Monkey, arrives and reveals it wasn't a trap but his home where the door simply blew shut, leading to a friendly encounter and shared stories.
