In this story, Uncle Wiggily the rabbit continues his travels with his new companion, the incredibly strong and helpful Elephant. After parting ways with the dog, the Elephant demonstrates his power by tunneling through a mountain and building a bridge across a river to overcome obstacles on their journey. However, the Elephant suddenly falls ill from drinking too much icy water earlier. A worried Uncle Wiggily searches for help and encounters a Peanut Man, whose hot, roasting peanuts miraculously cure the sick Elephant, allowing the friends to happily continue their adventure together, showcasing themes of friendship, resourcefulness, and unexpected solutions.
