The story follows Uncle Wiggily Longears, a charming and adventurous bunny rabbit, who sets off in search of exciting adventures. As he hops through the woods, he discovers an underground burrow reminiscent of his old home. Inside, he finds a glass box containing a cake labeled 'EAT ME,' which, after consuming, causes him to grow unusually large, trapping him inside the burrow. A sinister mosquito reveals this was a trick to capture him. However, a kind girl named Alice from Wonderland provides Uncle Wiggily a bottle with 'DRINK ME' written on it. Drinking from this bottle returns him to normal size, allowing him to escape. Alice introduces herself, explaining she's on a holiday from being in a book, and invites Uncle Wiggily to join her for more amusing adventures, ensuring a happy resolution.
