Rachel tells us her story through her drinking days and into sobriety. I could honestly relate with so many things, especially the moderating mind games and self-negotiation. Rachel has gone through some extremely trying and hard times but continues to show up and be her best self! She gives amazing advice, some apps to check out, and is so committed to recovery, that she now works in that field as a career. Talk about super woman! You can also find her on social media at racharogerss on instagram and rachannrogers on tiktok!
Jim was raised and taught in the military that you are only wounded if you could physically see the wound. As he surrendered to sobriety, he learned that is not the full truth. He was mentally wounded and that also deserves the correct attention, medical help, and support. He is being so vulnerable and a light for others to choose their life over the bottle no matter what age. There is still so much left to experience. He speaks on connection being the key and he is so right. Follow him on instagram at j_t_mckinley to see more on his journey and to find the link to his book!
Jordan Davis, while working his way up in the food scene in the Bloomington community, he crossed paths with addiction struggles and it pulled him away from his true self. After a dangerous and scary bender, he worked his ass off to get sober and stick to it. He is very supportive in the sober community and so awesome for sharing his journey to help others know there is a way out. At the end of the episode we talk all things Taste of Bloomington coming up on August 1st and the must try restaurants in town any time of the year. Follow him and his food podcast on socials and anywhere you listen to podcasts!

Jada is proving that no matter your story, upbringing, or challenges in life, you can be who you want to be. Always be honest with yourself and others to be able to be the happiest you can be. How can you find your true self if you are always in the bottom of the bottle? You can't. You will find the truest version of yourself when you are sober. She proves that and is a huge inspiration to others. She is so vulnerable to share her life story and everything she has been through, but seeing her so content and happy today is the best!

Connor tried to escape reality ever since being a young teenager. Then the trouble began. Jail time, almost dying, being saved, rehabs, lost relationships, and family interventions. But, that did not stop him. When he took a step back and envisioned his family standing around his casket, he gave a friend a call, and it finally clicked to leave the hard drugs in the past. Then, 21 years old and bars found him and substance abuse began again, and back to treatment. He is now 31 years old and speaking at recovery groups himself. Connor is living proof that you CAN and WILL get through it if you work for it and want it bad enough.
