In this episode of Limitless with Emma and Drew, Drew opens about his cancer diagnosis and how that shaped the next 5 years of his life. Drew shares from an incredibly vulnerable and authentic place, about his own experience of how cancer shaped his life, leading him on his own healing journey from disassociation, disconnection and anxiety to connection. Drew shares his experience with the intention to support others and show them that they don't need to experience a health crisis to live their best life now. Drew's mission is simple: May all be happy, may all be peaceful.

"I am from Atlanta, GA in the US and have followed my love for travel and the Spanish language to Valencia, where I have been based since September 2019. 

I am a 200-hour certified yoga instructor, a certified Health and Life Coach, and currently  training in the alternative, body based therapy Somatic Experiencing (“SE”). 

I have come to believe that my purpose in life is related to helping others find more purpose, peace and happiness in their own lives. I follow a holistic approach to well-being and consider acknowledging the uniqueness in each individual to be fundamental."

In today's episode with Therapist, Podcast Host & TV presenter, Simon Pitt, we talk about the lessons and blessings he's discovered after his diagnosis with Attention deficit disorder (ADD) in 2021. In this conversation, he opened his heart to share from his own experience and offers a new perspective on how a diagnosis can be liberating and the challenges that it also has within it. Simon dives into topics such as self-expression, vulnerability, the power of knowing yourself and through his words, provides an insight into the life of someone with ADD.

Simon wanted to share his story on this podcast  to discuss the obstacles that people with ADHD have to face and the need for better adult diagnosis and more affordable support. He also wanted to address the inaccuracies about the condition and how it's perceived, looking at suitable interventions, careers and interests to fit.  He offers insight on living with a disability, understanding what it is and, at the same time, not allowing yourself to be limited by it.
