Chasing leads connected to the seraphic imagery the agents of The Program investigate local churches both abandoned and still attended by the locals. Things are starting to tie together but the knot they weave is no less sinister.

Acting on on the "intel" gathered from a local conspiracy theorist our agents finally make their venture into "The Devil's Cave". Discovering strange and possibly insightful imagery into what may be going on in the sleepy town of Marengo. However, the townsfolk may not be so sleepy after all.

Finally at the mouth of the "Devil's Cave" the Agents take a detour into the surrounding woodland, making a curious discovery. After another supply run the agents make one final investigative stop before finally taking the plunge into the cave.

A return to the cave results in a visit to the cave center where an "interesting" local divulges a new and devilish conspiracy about the disappearances. The unwitting friendly Agent Heartly gets deeper as her curiosity keeps her involved.

Our agents continue to the hospital to investigate the effects on those exposed to the horror from the cave. An interesting acquisition is made in preparation for what's to come. Will the preparations be enough? In Delta Green preparations are never enough….

When identically mutilated corpses begin floating into Marengo, Indiana out of a nearby cave's watershed the media takes notice. When video footage of one of these corpses beaching itself across a walkway and writhing in death throws across the ground is uploaded to the internet, Agents of the Program are sent to investigate.
