Professor Brendan Wintle, Director of the Threatened Species Recovery Hub came in to talk about the state of threatened species in Australia in comparison to the rest of the world and why Threatened Species Day is so important. Finally, Peter Cochrane, historian and novelist, spoke about his new book on "the story behind the story" of Australia's involvement in World War I, 'Best We Forget: The War for White Australia: 1914-18'.
