A fellow former Democrat lawmaker has accused the former House Speaker, Tina Kotek, of abusing her power as she “threatened to kill legislation, demote lawmakers and end one former legislator’s political career as she sought support for a high-stakes bill has been under investigation for more than 16 months  OPB further reports, “…the document does show that Hernandez has been consistent in his account. He texted other lawmakers about being bullied by Kotek immediately after he says the threats occurred in May 2019…An outside attorney — paid more than $350 an hour — has yet to release findings nearly 500 days after Hernandez filed the complaint.  The report is obviously being delayed and poses a massive threat to the Tina Kotek campaign for Governor.  This abuse of power is exactly what another Oregon Democrat Lawmaker has said this year when State Representative Marty Wilde stated; “I could not continue to participate in a caucus that had stopped acting democratically. We had failed to set a positive example of transparency and engagement and stopped supporting laws that returned power to the people we represent. Instead, we let our partisan desire to maintain power override our duty to the people….Since I joined the caucus in 2019 as a freshman legislator, it has become less and less democratic.  This abuse of power is similar to when then-Speaker Kotek violated her pledge to produce a bipartisan equal redistricting commission.  Both Democrat and Republican lawmakers unsuccessfully sued against Kotek’s biased plan.

Joe Rogan recently called out groomers on his podcast and Woke activists on the left are losing their minds! Some even saying that calling woke teachers “groomers” should be banned. Woke teachers are trying to teach young children about sex and gender identity in the most graphic ways. Is this appropriate behavior? As food plants across the country go up in flames, conspiracies are running wild. The fires have affected food production facilities in several states, including our beloved Oregon. Is this a normal occurrence? The almighty "Fact Checkers" say no alarm is needed. These fires are not highly unusual. Is this true? Due to the intense political turmoil in our state, Oregon has recently become the laughingstock of American politics, but is that game about to change?  

Amidst the chaos, we bring to you, the darker side of Salem as we inch closer to the November elections. Former Oregon House Speaker, Tina Kotek just took victory as the Democratic nominee in the run for Oregon's next governor. In light of the article covered in this episode... Is Tina Kotek the type of person Oregonians want? How will this lawsuit affect her run, or will it?   

In these strange times, history is shifting. Many Oregonians are exhausted with our current government staff and the Orwellian nightmare we are watching come true in our beloved state. Is 2022 Oregon's year for change? Will Oregon be red again? Only time will tell, but the more we know, the more power we have as a people.  

Maybe now is the time for Oregon to unite in common cause for the sake of our children and their future in the State of Oregon.

Gun control is only the beginning. The beginning of what? Is it really that big of a deal?   It is always interesting, enlightening and humbling to look at history and examine the lessons of our ancestors. What did they endure? How did they survive? How did they overcome the hardships they faced? What can we learn from understanding the circumstances of the past?  And what does any of this have to do with control over guns? Why does this matter?  Gun control is essential in order to easily manipulate a population and it's only the beginning. In every instance of tyrannical take-over, the general population was first rid of their means to protect themselves. In the year 2022, America continues its ongoing battle against gun control, but how long have we, the people, been fighting to keep our right to bear arms?  In this episode of Freedom Friday, Butch reads a news article that reveals the haunting reflection of the modern day and days long past.
