Australia has suffered devastating bushfires, floods and storms over the last few years, and that could be a taste of worse to come, if climate change forecasts are accurate.
But how much of the damage suffered by the worst affected communities is avoidable?
Professor Barbara Norman, Director of Canberra Urban and Regional Futures at the University of Canberra is looking to the future and pushing for a rethink of how and where we live by suggesting a new model for climate resilient development.
