If a stranger asks you to tell them about yourself, where do you start? The majority of us would say "I am _____" and fill in the blank with: a coach, or a lawyer, or a CTO, or a therapist, or a mother. But those identities are often limiting, putting us in boxes based on what we do, rather than who we are.
Join Alex and Cristina for an empowering conversation on identity and how we are all so much more than just our job titles. In this episode, they discuss where we often go wrong in forming identity, how to know if your identity is out of alignment with who you truly are, and how to unpack the boxes you may have put yourself in with a limited identity.
Rick Harrigan, certified Life Purpose Coach, joins Cristina and Alex on Uncover the Human this week. They discuss how removing external validation and listening to your inner voice is crucial in finding yourself and your life purpose. Purpose is defined by being, not by doing. It is a continuing journey that we are all on. Rick walks you through his own journey and how to start with changing your fear-based values into fearless values, even how "fun" can be a value. Listen to this episode to find out how you can apply your understanding and knowledge into actionable items in finding your purpose and bringing more joy into your everyday life.

Everyone wants to be successful. Does that mean having $1,000,000, obtaining your dream job, or buying your dream house? Cristina and Alex offer a different perspective than the material success we've been conditioned to believe we want. This episode offers a discussion around what it means to be successful from the inside-out. They suggest having a more fluid definition of success. By using our internal compass, core values, and being present in our lives, we can redefine success on our own terms and in the present moment. "Success" might be difficult to answer for yourself, however you'll end up happier, more fulfilled, and more successful!

Why do we ghost and get ghosted? From the corporate world to intimate relationships, Cristina and Alex discuss what it means to ghost someone from two perspectives: the person who doesn't like to respond and the person who feels disrespected without a response. Is there psychology around ghosting? Why do we take it so personally? We are all conscious that time is a precious resource and would like our time and effort to be acknowledged on both sides. This episode provides a discussion about why we do it and ways we can avoid ghosting.
At the beginning of December 2021 we hosted our first roundtable discussion on "Burnout during the Holidays and Beyond". We had an insightful and rich conversation with our panelists and guests, so we decided to share it on our podcast. You can find the video of this event on our YouTube channel and our website. Additionally, we also developed a free workbook to help you recognize and overcome burnout, downloadable from our website at

This week we have a wonderful conversation with Kelli Oberndorf on how to connect different silos. As very commonly experienced, silos are widely present in organizations, despite the awareness that they cause deep gaps internally and externally. Breaking them down comes "down" to having the tools and desire to focus on and invest in connecting people, communication, and interpersonal skills.
