Andrea Polk is the founder of Solo Noir, a premium line of grooming products for men of color, and co-founder of Zen Soul Apothecary, her soon-to-be-released brand, which she co-created with her amazingly insightful 5-year-old daughter, Ava.

In our interview, she shared the story of a young, shy, and introverted Andrea who went on to overcome various defeats and hurdles in life to achieve her ambitions. She also gave some candid and vulnerable insights into the history behind Zen Soul Apothecary's birth, and how her faith ties into her newfound awareness of her healing energies and chakras.

Our guest in this episode, Dr. Harold Foley III, is an academic professor (with a Ph.D.) turned real estate developer. He has been in real estate since 1996, starting off as co-owner and Vice President of VOB development, and now President of HF3 Group LLC.

Dr Hal and I talked about the Foley family's roots and foundations, and the important role they played in setting him up for where he's at right now. We also chatted about how he got started flipping/rehabbing homes in New Orleans, and how that turned into constructing affordable housing communities using affordable housing tax credits.

The Dr Hal and the Foley family have a multitude of accomplishments to celebrate, and it was a privilege to uncover their story with him. Truly heart warming!
