Chelsea Graham is a senior editor in audio at Bonnier working across our fiction list. She boasts a Master's degree in Publishing from the University of Derby. Before her role at Bonnier, she worked in audio at Bloomsbury and in editorial at two magazines. Last but very much not least, she is also the founder and Editor in Chief of The Publishing Post, which continues to be one of the best resources for publishing hopefuls--and it doesn’t cost a dime. She's also a regular speaker for the Society of Young Publishers and the recipient of the London Book Fair Trailblazers award.

This week, Polly Smith talks running events like the British Book Awards and FutureBook for The Bookseller, as well as her career from a young publishing hopeful to her place at the center of British publishing today.

Polly Smith is Events Executive at the Bookseller. After graduating from Newcastle University with a degree in English Literature, Polly interned for the Publisher’s Association before moving over to The Bookseller as an event coordinator. Clearly not busy enough, Polly also joined the Society of Young Publishers as a UK events officer before being promoted to her current role of Events Executive. She is currently in the midst of planning the British Book Awards, also called the Nibbies.
