J.Wu has found a harmony in marrying emotive and haunting soundscapes with driving rhythms. His sets, gradually evolving to ultimately reaching a peak of euphoria, have led to a reputation for being a sound selector that appreciates the slow burn.

As a solo DJ, he has played at some of Los Angeles’s favorite venues, including Exchange, Avalon, Catch One (formerly Union) and Los Globos. His duo act with The Kid Inside, Artessan (formerly known as Space Cadets), has seen the pair explore more cinematic territories. He has played support to many prominent industry figures, including Dave Seaman, Miyagi, Stelios Vassiloudis, KhoMha, and Modus. Outside of Los Angeles, he has had the fortune to share his sound with Mexico’s thriving club culture.

His first steps as a producer came when his remix of JP Lantieiri’s “Cabernet” was chosen among many to be officially signed to Berlin-based label Flemcy Music. His collection of unreleased private edits and remixes have been played out in clubs and radio stations by JP Lantieri, alice.km, Matthew Navong, and others.

This week we are graced with the selections of MAXO. He is a House and Techno DJ originally from Mexico City, also spending time in Los Angeles and currently in the Mexican Caribbean. He is signed to SLC Music and his This mix features some melodic tunes with deep basslines and groovy sounds. Straight from the beautiful beaches of Quintana Roo.

Today on #under012 we have Sundoll a Mexican DJ, who is at the helm of one of the most influential promotion companies in northern Mexico, Sonora Desert Productions.

On this week's episode of #UNDER, we have an Egyptian duo with a interesting proposal. Two guys from cairo Shady Sabry and Ahmed El Touny combined forces and play & produce deep & dark music regardless of the genre. Temporarily Unknown was born delivering epic multi- genre dj sets and original tracks involving different sounds and elements from different genres. Their epic mixture of sounds impressed & got supported by local & global DJs/Producers. Released several Originals & Remixes on Green Martian (Bonzai Progressive), Colorize, Stellar Fountain & Astrowave.

This weekend, we have the head of Altern8 LA taking over the controls for #UNdER. High energy and driving techno is our treat this evening and it comes courtesy of Santiaguz. Based in Los Angeles and with growing branches in Mexico City, he is an important part of the underground scene and its proponents. Enjoy!

This week we have yet another talented member of El Agency, Eisen. She is one of the most influential and respected DJ's in the Mexican underground. She is also a producer, focusing on techno and minimal deep tech. She's played the best clubs in the entire Mexican Republic and has also traveled to iconic venues in sexy locations such as Guatemala. She is a talented member of the electronic music scene and we recommend you keep an eye out for her trajectory.

On this week's episode we call again on El Agency's talented roster, continuing to highlight the diverse sounds they bring to the table. Showcasing his talents this week is Linoh. He is based in Mexico City and is signed to one of Mexico's finest labels, Habitat, as well as the imprint Deserved Music, which belongs to Y.O.S.O.Y. of Stereo Productions. He's an emerging talent and has played some of Mexico's sexiest venues, with a sound that will keep your feet moving from start to end. He belongs to the Escena Local collective and is one of the key members of the electronic music scene in Mexico City's vibrant underground culture.

This week we have an emerging and talented DJ and producer from Mexico and signed to Italian label Klaphouse Records, she has been all over the Mexican territory as well as traveling abroad to share her music with partygoers all over the Americas. She part of the new but already influential talent agency, "El Agency" which is based in Mexico City and is already making some heavy noise worldwide. This talent agency boasts some of the most talented and hardest working individuals in the electronic music scene in their country. We hope you enjoy this fine selection!

Shay De Castro may be from the US but she ended up making a name for herself through Latin America. Her thumping kicks and trance-like melodies have set her apart from the rest, taking her to venues all over the world. This is only emphasized by her fun-loving, energetic character. Her passion and precision in the studio has landed her on top labels such as Codex, Bitten, and Prospect, among others. Frequently climbing up the Beatport charts, you'll find artists like Amelie Lens, UMEK, and Ilario Alicante playing her tracks.
