Under the midday sun

Listen Later

Under the midday sun

Thirty-one days above 110 in Phoenix, sweating just thinking

about it I need a Kleenex

Maui damn near burned to the ground, storms from hells

howling makes a horrendous sound

You wonder if global warming has

begun, as I'm standing baking cookies under the midday sun

Glaciers’ shrinking, calving faster melting away, our eco

system spins out of balance further each day

Uncovering lands meant to stay frozen, our existence becomes

threatened by this path we have chosen

You wonder if global warming has begun, as I'm standing

baking cookies under the midday sun

Polar ice shrinking, violent storms brewing, time for all

the world to pay attention to what we’re doing

Temperatures can’t rise, not even one degree, or the

coastlines will be subject to severe catastrophe

You wonder if global warming has begun, as I'm standing

baking cookies under the midday sun
