What ethical responsibilities do businesses have? Do they have any at all? How do corporations exploit the market? In this riveting episode on economics and philosophy, we delve into the world of business ethics, looking at something called corporate social responsibility. 

Milton Friedman gets a little crazy with his 6-page article which shocked the world, 'The social responsibility of business is to increase its profit' (1970). We try to flirt with Joseph Heath to get him to come onto our show. Check out Heath's article 'A market failure approach to business ethics' (2004).
