KidCrusher steps into the hot seat of the Underground Nation Podcast for a raw conversation with your host with the ghost, Bounce Ball Boogie, and the redheaded flame of chaos, Feral Minx!

For more than 20 years, the Adelaide, Australia artist has built an unmistakable legacy by combining horrorcore, hip-hop, industrial music, heavy metal, cinematic storytelling, and the twisted theatrical world of his Cannibal Clown persona.

In this episode, KidCrusher takes us behind the paint to discuss the creation of his character, growing up as an outcast, building a massive independent catalog, and remaining committed to his vision when the music industry didn’t know where to place him.

We also explore the major moments and controversies that shaped his journey—including his experience being denied entry into the United States before the 2008 Gathering of the Juggalos, the use of his music in the Law & Order episode “Steel-Eyed Death,” and the complicated relationship between horrorcore, fictional violence, censorship, and public perception.

KidCrusher also opens up about the financial reality of independent music, streaming revenue, merchandise, creative ownership, mental health, personal sacrifice, and what it truly costs to protect your art for more than two decades.

This is more than an interview with a horrorcore artist. It’s a conversation about survival, identity, independence, and the human being behind the monster.

Underground Nation—where the unheard rise, and the underground refuses to stay buried!

Kentucky alternative metal band @SleepinginSilenceKult joins your host with the ghost, @BounceBallBoogie , for an emotional, unpredictable, and hard-hitting episode of the Underground Nation Podcast!

Formed in 2022 by session musician and horror film producer Denny Kidd, Sleeping in Silence was born during one of the darkest periods of his life. After experiencing devastating personal loss, Kidd turned to music as an emotional outlet—and what began as a solo project eventually evolved into a full band determined to make some serious noise.

Blending alternative metal, nu-metal, metalcore, hip-hop, and cinematic horror influences, Sleeping in Silence brings together aggression, melody, emotion, and storytelling to create a sound entirely their own.

In this episode, Bounce Ball Boogie goes behind the music to uncover the story of Sleeping in Silence, the creation of “Still Alive!”, the band's evolution, the realities of building an independent band, the connection between horror and heavy music, and what the future holds for this rising Kentucky act.

We also get into the business side of being an independent artist—the money it takes to create, promote, perform, and grow when you're trying to take a band from the underground to the next level.

On this episode of the Underground Nation Podcast, DEAD DROP steps into the hot seat with your Host With the Ghost, Bounce Ball Boogie, for a raw conversation about the music, the struggle, and the reality behind building a band in today's industry.

We dig beneath the surface to explore DEAD DROP's identity, creative process, influences, personal battles, and the stories behind their music. On this episode of the **Underground Nation Podcast**, @BounceBallBoogie sits down with North Carolina darkwave/post-punk artist **Mostly Mesh** for a conversation about music, horror, trauma, creativity, independence, and what it takes to build an underground music project from the ground up.

Mostly Mesh delivers **bass-heavy post-punk and darkwave** soaked in campy 80s horror, BDSM-tinged lyrics, macabre romance, lust, sarcasm, and plenty of corn syrup blood.

*Discover what's making noise underneath the surface.*

Rose Cora Perry, singer, songwriter, guitarist, and frontwoman of the award-winning Canadian rock band The Truth Untold, steps into the hot seat of the Underground Nation Podcast to discuss the powerful story behind the Warrior Women concert series.

After years of touring Canada and the United States, Rose began recognizing a painful pattern. Many women in music were experiencing discrimination and harassment onstage while privately facing domestic abuse behind closed doors. Those conversations, along with Rose’s own experiences, inspired her to turn music into something bigger.

Warrior Women is a six-city concert and empowerment series bringing together female-fronted bands, inspiring speakers, women-owned businesses, and organizations committed to helping women and children escape abuse. The series is raising awareness and support for Yellow Brick House while transforming local music venues into spaces of strength, solidarity, and meaningful connection.

During this conversation, Rose discusses the personal inspiration behind Warrior Women, discrimination within the music industry, the challenges of producing a six-city benefit series, supporting survivors, creating measurable change, and her hopes for expanding Warrior Women beyond its first year.
