Tonight's episode we got to sit down with our friend and fellow sports card breaker Blake Bollinger ( @Deep Fried Breaks ) of Deep Fried Breaks. We covered a lot of hobby topics including today's new baseball release 2022 Topps Series 1 baseball. Talking about Wandermania being in full effect and even watching a blue parallel auction get bid up to over $20,000 and see the auction get cancelled all while we were recording. In other news we touched on Nat Turner having cards stolen out of his car which is just wild, Juan Soto turning down a gigantic extension, the lockout still being in effect, and potential moves to make with base card print runs soaring to new levels. Good differing opinions on quite a few of these topics and I think that's what makes this show so much fun to actual create. Hopefully all you wonderful listeners out there feel the same way!

Tonight we spent the first hour or so breaking down all 49 rookies represented in 2022 Topps Series 1 Baseball. We did it by CARD NUMBER not by team so follow along the checklist to know the order! After that around the 1:17:00 mark Brett Comincioli brings us the latest hobby news! Wrapping up the episode starting around the 1:53:00 mark our guest Jim Rosati (Derby City Breaks on FB and @northsidenotch on Twitter) breaks down the Candy Digital NFT platform, it's use in the hobby space, and what further untapped potential NFTs in general have. Tonight we just spent time discussing all the issues we feel are wrong with the current system for the MLB Hall of Fame. It's unfortunate that this is the topic at hand when we should be celebrating David Ortiz for making it to Cooperstown. We also explain how cheating throughout human history has always existed and while we're not making excuses for those people, the BBWAA need to set their bias, politics, and opinions aside and vote for the BEST players in baseball. We give you the runaround like only we can do and make a lot of valid points but we're left with no resolution only ideas on what we think could help the enshrinement process for these all time greats.
