Doggett heads to New York City after he’s told DNA evidence has allowed for the release of a convicted killer named Bob Fassl. Thirteen years prior, Doggett arrested Fassl for the gruesome murder of a family living in Brooklyn. Reluctant to believe Fassl is innocent, Doggett tries to uncover the truth with the help of Scully and Reyes. This episode was written and directed by John Shiban.
