Dr. Sue Webb joins us today for a discussion about potential field inversion, the future of geoscience in Africa, and the AfricaArray project. Sue's been an integral part of driving the new frontier of geoscience in Africa; she's run the field school for a couple of decades and taught hundreds (maybe thousands) of students how to #geosci. Welcome to UR Sock Sessions. This is an experiment gone horribly wrong. GRAM and matt visited Chris Jackson in New York during his GSA Distinguished Lecturer tour. The three were joined by Ethan Rosenthal (who's also been on the show a couple of times). One late night, the four kicked off their shoes, cracked a beer, and chatted while the cameras rolled.
