When it comes to natural disasters, landslides have a huge impact on  Malaysia in terms of injuries, deaths, property damage, public inconvenience, economic as well as financial damage.

But why do landslides happen? What can we do to prevent them from occurring time and again, or at least mitigate the risks and damages that they can cause?
