Momentum — it's what every stock needs. Momentum, or “mono,” refers to an asset’s price continuing to move in the same direction based on its past performance. In this episode of Stocks In Translation, Yahoo Finance markets and data editor Jared Blikre and producer Sydnee Fried welcome Julius de Kempenaer, the creator of Relative Rotation Graphs, to the vodcast.

“The momentum concept is huge in technical analysis… a lot of the concepts in technical analysis are based on momentum,” says de Kempenaer. “Relative Rotation Graphs are using a form of momentum to display that rotational pattern in the markets.”
