Understanding music rights in Web3 are moving along swiftly thanks to the Web3 Music Rights Group, an international group of music professionals. The stakeholders have been identified and a matrix constructed to determine who needs which rights and what piece of the pie each rights owner gets in the proper licensing of music in different NFT and metaverse usages. The documents needed have also been drafted and will be distributed for round table comments this summer.
