Self Harm is a concept that is hard for many parents and their children to understand. Why does it happen? Can children recover from it? We will be talking to a variety of guests and experts to help us understand this issue.

Firstly we are speaking to Dr Annie Swanepoel is a consultant child and adolescent psychiatrist working in the NHS in Hertfordshire. She is interested in self-harm and has published in this area.

Then we will be speaking to Verity and Anita, Mum and Daughter who have been affected by Self Harm. To roundup the show we will be speaking to NPSCC spokesperson Chris Cloke.
