Many of us believe that God won't give us more than we can handle, but that's not true, for He does it all the time so that we'll realize we're not sufficient in ourselves but our sufficiency is found in His power and faithfulness. What He won't do is to allow Satan to tempt us above measure, and will make a way for us to handle the temptation or escape. Those are two separate circumstances and until we realize that and think of the situations properly, we will always find ourselves behind the 8th ball. Much LOVE!
