There's a lot of tough slogging down here on earth, and if you're living for Jesus, it sometimes even gets tougher. But we need to remember that Jesus will never leave nor forsake us, so even when we feel like we've reached our limit, we need to persevere, just like He did. It wasn't easy for Him either, but He placed the joy of sitting at the Father's right hand above the pain and indignity He suffered. Likewise, we should also look towards the joy of heaven, the many rewards and crowns that ae stored up there for us if we run this race with perseverance and endurance. No, this earthly life is not easy, but if we stick with Jesus, remember all the promises He made, and allow His Holy Spirit that indwells us to lead and guide us, we will be successful and eventually receive all the rewards, crowns and joy that are stored up in heaven for us!
