Understanding the Bible

Were dinosaurs on Noah's Ark?

What's that all about? Did it really flood the whole Earth and how do we know?

The story of Noah's ark is fascinating on so many scientific and historical levels, you have got to listen to this episode. Please send me your questions and comments after listening to this episode at [email protected].... and please support this podcast with a small monthly donation.

Have you ever wanted to know if there is any proof for the dinosaurs in the Bible? Did you even know that the Bible mentions 2 different dinosaurs in 3 different books of the Bible and explains how people had attempted to use different types of weapons to kill them?

This episode touches on the tip of the iceberg of all the evidence of dinosaurs and humans together. From ancient writings, first hand accounts, pottery, cave drawings of dinosaur hunts, to fossil evidence of dragons, to human footprints fossilized in dinosaur footprints (either hunting, or walking behind); the scientific evidence for the recency of dinosaurs is overwhelming.

If science, the Bible, or dinosaurs interest you, this is a must listen to podcast episode!

Who knew that the Bible has the answers to Dinosaurs and science?

Islam has been around for almost 1500 years. It's founder was Mohammad who sought refuge in a city of 3 Jewish tribes, Medina; after his group of marauders were defeated and chased there. He raised a new band of followers by starting this religion and promising them the right to enslave any women they captured and great wealth if they followed him...and his new religion. He also promised them that they would go to heaven if they died in combat for him and would have endless pleasure with 72 virgins.

Of course, this gained him a large following of able men who then turned against their saviors, the Jews, and murdered them and took the city from them.

Don't forget about his child bride who he raped at age 9.

But how is a Christian supposed to deal with the nice Muslim next door or at work? And how do you even begin to understand their religion or the Quran?

Listen to this brief 30 minute explanation that will explain the 2 things you MUST know before discussing Islam with anyone.

So many times we hear preachers say, "What I believe this means is..." or "What this means to me is..." and that is very dangerous to your average church goer because it makes people think that God and the Bible are subjective. This means to them, that they can believe it or not, and that everyone has a right to interpret the Bible however they choose to believe.

This could not be further from the truth.

How you choose to apply something to your life does not change what God's Word says.

What a verse means does not change from person to person.

Listen to this episode to find out the difference between personal beliefs, Bible doctrine, and a conviction that turns a non sinful thing into a sin against God.

You may have heard it called different things over the years, but have you heard the terms Polygamy, Polyamory, Sister Wives, Concubines, or just a man with more than one wife?

Is it a sin?

The answer to that question is quite simply, What does the Bible say?

Listen to find out...

What do you think?

Have you heard the terms; "church age", dispensation", or sermons preached on modern day miracles? Does your church teach on speaking in tongues according to Acts and 1 Cor.14, or healing the sick, laying on of hands, annointing with oil, or prophecy, or calling down fire from heaven, or cursing plants to death?

Listen to this episode to find out what the Bible says about miracles TODAY, not merely in the past.

Believers in Jesus Christ are called to be Watchmen on the wall, to warn those in the city of impending danger. The danger now is that Jesus is coming soon and people are immersed in sin, not just for themselves, but they are now dragging little children into it.

We are to call a warning to those doing evil, we are to stand up and shout, we are to resist, we are to try and protect innocent lives. If we have an opportunity, and we fail to stand up for what is right, and fail to tell people that it is evil and a sin against GOD, then WE will be judged for the sin they commit.

God's math is different than ours. If someone commits an evil act in front of us and we do nothing, they are 100% responsible and WE are 100% responsible for what happened.

Be alert for opportunities to call out warnings and to point people to Jesus Christ.

This episode digs into the idea of knowing God and what the Catholic church teaches vs. what the Bible actually says about it.

The principle of Sola Scriptura, or "only the Scriptures" is actually a Biblical doctrine.

Don't take my word for it, listen and jot down the Bible verses and read them for yourself.
