Underworld: Rise of the Lycans fills us in on all the important little details that were set up in the first Underworld movie. It suffers ALL of the issues that come with prequels. Every single one. This is why people are skeptical when prequels are announced. We don't want to see backstories about something we heard in passing during a previous movie. We want to see NEW ideas and places where the franchise should go. We know how each character's arc ends! In fact, in this movie, they just recreate a flashback from the first movie and do it wrong. This angers me. (Ethan) Is this enough to halt the progress of the Underworld movies? Are we at the "can't" part of Watch Till You Can't?
