    Artist: @shkoon-music
    Remixers: @javid-3 | @goldcap | @timur-sardarov | @dandaramusic | @arutani
    UYSR037 - Shkoon - Letters EP - released 2016-12-09
    Shkoon
Hamburg electronic music duo with Syrian roots Shkoon delivers Underyourskin Records‘ next EP ‘Letters‘ - a musical clash of diverse folk and traditional influences fusing together with a downtempo house vibe. The dreamy ‘Ala Moj Al Bahr‘ plays with the symbiosis between oriental vocals and a desert like desolating sound construct that finds its peak in a melodic discrete synth oriented part that lets you feel the occident. JAVID‘s remix puts more emphasize on the folk elements of the original limiting the vocals to a minimum yet being so on point that the yearning for more is inevitable.

‘Once Upon a Time in the West‘ gets it well deserved rennaissence with Nikolas Kuhl‘s remix for Just Emma‘s ‘Scars in the Sky‘ taking us on a ride through the plains into the sunset. Firing vocal bullets while enjoying the melancholy of guitar riffs played in a bonfire night before leaving to the next saloon in the pace of that march-alike funky baseline.
