It's always a refreshing and interesting conversation when we talk to one of our favorite guests/people Dave Hingerty.  Cutting his teeth as a world-class percussionist with the likes of Kila, The Frames, and Josh Ritter, Dave's worked to continually expand his artistic horizons with his collaborative project Side 4 Collective. (Dave provides a groove as a starting point that any artist is welcome to build upon. It's so cool!)

On another very special episode of UTP, we venture back into the Asylum Case Studies universe with comedian and friend Tressa Slater. Join us as we pay homage to actor, Tom Sizemore as he has now passed on to a realm beyond. The Battle for Pandora is The Asylum's attempt to cash in on some of that sweet, Avatar 2 money with a mockbuster that has absolutely nothing to do with the original film. With projects such as Slim Cessna’s Auto Club, DBUK and Munly & The  Lupercalians Denver area legends Munly J. Munly 32nd and Slim Cessna  have established themselves as influential and striking fixtures of the  Denver arts community for over 30 years. Armed with apocalyptic stories  and a sound better experienced than explained, it was truly an honor  getting to know these wonderfully unique and talented gentlemen.

Hailing from San Marcos, Texas, Maddie and the Dead Names are an amazing, multi-genre rock band that are coming up! A force to be reckoned with both musically and politically, they are also great to chat with. Enjoy, Dandies!

John  Forbes of Chicago's "Tijuana Hercules," has lived a storied life. We  were able to pry some of those (many NSFW, but hilarious,) stories loose  on this week's episode of Undetermined The Podcast. Special thanks to  SKiN GRAFT Records for getting us together with John and helping to  represent some of the best noise and post punk acts to come out of the  Midwest.       

We were also surprised that we had not met up before with John  Forbes. Especially considering that Tressa Slater of The Asylum Case  Studies Podcast is a close, mutual friend. Thanks to Tressa for making  an appearance, as well. I hope all of our Dandies had a great holiday  with friends and family! Cheers!

We could have talked for hours with dUg as we discussed King's X origins/living in Springfield, MO, mutual friends (s'up Monty?), evolving musically/philosophically...even buying awesome t-shirts from Matt in the 90s. Such a great time! 

Also, HOLY SHITE is the new King's X a good record!! Seriously. We hope we're still kicking this much ass in our 70s.
