Praise and worship are not the same thing. Praise is the honest acknowledgment of what God has done, while worship is the complete surrender of who we are to who He is. Many people go through the motions every week without ever truly engaging with God, keeping their emotions in check and their hands down out of concern for what others might think. But dignity that holds back praise is not a virtue. It is a spiritual problem. Scripture is clear that God's people are called to praise Him with singing, shouting, dancing, and instruments, not as a suggestion, but as instruction. True worship requires a broken and surrendered heart, not a polished performance. When we remove ourselves from the center and genuinely honor God's presence, He transforms us from the inside out. The cross demands a response, and God is looking for people willing to get a little undignified for His glory.
