We often pray and never consider at what cost we want to see God move in our life. Talking specifically about your word for the year-have you considered what it will cost you to get to the end of the year with everything you've prayed for? Are you ready for God to answer those prayers?

By choosing to celebrate who God is and how we've seen Him move in our life, we are in fact choosing to believe that in spite of the circumstances we face, God is who He says He is!

We are to be in the world but not of it. Have you ever considered how easily offended our generation is? In our sensitivity, we often find ourselves reacting to the world-which within itself is responding as if we were of the world. God has given us a bigger purpose and a sense of responsibility. Jealousy is something we all experience, but refusing to let God heal our insecurities can sometimes lead us to believe we can't know another life. Often times we cater to our physical need for rest that we completely neglect to tend to our spiritual and emotional exhaustion. God created the Sabbath so that we would know true rest, and that is resting in the presence and person of Jesus. The Last thing you truly need is a nap.
