Summer is here! That means the kids are out of school and looking forward to fun and exciting summer activities. It also means that as parents, we need to take a moment to think about our strategy around technology for the summer in order to ensure that our children are safe. In this episode of the Undone Redone podcast, Tray and Melody talk briefly about teaching our children about healthy digital citizenship and then dive into 6 or 7 popular apps that can be potentially dangerous for our children.
Please share this episode with your family and friends…especially those who still have children in the home.
Mel and Tray are FINALLY back in the studio! As they remind us on each episode, "Life is Messy…Bring Your Boots", they openly share the messiness that they have experienced over the past few months that hindered them from consistently getting into the studio to record. Tray and Mel deliberately stepped back from ministry for 2 months in order to re-fresh and re-focus and got to experience a wonderful 4-day marriage intensive in Nashville during their time away. They are now back rested, refreshed, and re-focused and look forward to bringing you fresh new content in the weeks ahead.
Society pays a price when we teach men to be turned on by women in pain. Continuing in our series entitled "Sex. Don't Settle for Grey", Tray and Melody welcome Heather Lybrand back to the Messy Boots Studio to discuss 'Gifts and Counterfeits'. For every good and perfect gift God gives his children, the enemy of our souls offers a counterfeit to keep us from experiencing God's good gift. Sex and our sexuality is no different. Because sex in a committed, marital relationship is a picture of our union with God through Christ, Satan will do whatever he can to profane this picture and to sell us a cheap substitute. The movie '50 Shades of Grey' celebrates a selfish, carnal sexuality that degrades and controls women that does not come close to the intimate, selfless act God intended.
Whether you are planning to watch the '50 Shades of Grey' movie or not, we hope you will take the time to listen to this series and at least compare God's design with what we are being offered by culture. Please consider sharing with your family and friends!
Continuing in our "Sex. Don't Settle for Grey" series, Tray and Melody discuss 'Sexual Atheism' with Undone Redone's Greg Oliver. This interview addresses the growing phenomenon among single Christians who are ignoring clear Biblical standards when it comes to sex and sexuality.
