Undrafted Rookie

Ever wondered what other sportsmen would make good NFL players? Well, so have we. In fact, we've recorded it and released it for your listening pleasure.

Paul and I construct a 25-player NFL roster of non-NFL sportspeople and celebrities. It's harder than you would have thought tbh. Listen to us debate whether rugby players, boxers, or even tennis players would make good football players. Obviously we'll never find out the answer but it's something to pass the time.

Send us your suggestions because they're bound to be better than ours.

The final episode of our NFL round-up! And the honour of being the subject of this episode goes to the AFC South.

Fair to say we've not exactly saved the best 'til last. But who knows; the only way is up for the Texans, Jags will be lead by an ever-improving Trevor Lawrence, Colts now have one of the most exciting draft prospects at QB, and the Titans just signed DeAndre Hopkins - might be an interesting season for the AFC South after all!

The AFC North, perhaps the most competitive division in football for 2023, is the subject of our penultimate episode of our NFL round-up.

With the Bengals looking to restate their claim as kings of the North, the Steelers hoping to extend Mike Tomlin's run of winning seasons, the Ravens trying to reunite Lamar Jackson with his MVP form, and the Browns hoping to distract everyone from that awful thing that they did, the 2023 AFC North is looking to be a tasty one.

Our round-up of the NFL divisions continues with a look at the AFC West.

All four teams in the AFC West have won exactly 15 division titles. This year that will change and one team will come out on top, but who will it be? Probably the Chiefs again to be honest...

Could the Broncos become *entertaining*? Will Garoppolo thrive when reunited with Josh McDaniels? Could this finally be the Chargers' year? None of these things seem particularly likely but who knows.

Following on from our incredibly successful NFC round-up, our AFC round-up begins in the East - maybe the toughest division in football.

Will Rodgers shine in a new-look Jets team? Is Bill Belichick's job actually in danger? Can the Bills get over the hump and go to the big dance?

Find out how little we know about these questions and more!

We conclude our little NFC round-up with a look at the NFC South.

A division of four teams with four new starting QBs, who were only separated by one win in 2022. The NFC South is a tough one to predict. So naturally, that's what we tried to do. Only time will tell just how badly we did.

Jake returns to chat all things NFC North and look ahead to the upcoming NFL season.

How will the Packers fare without Aaron Rodgers? Can the Lions build upon their 2023 success? Could the Bears surprise us all and go worst-to-first? Unlikely to be honest...

We try to answer some of these questions, albeit with the significant help of Gregg Rosenthal's Projected Starters article on NFL.com.

Following on from last week's round-up of the NFC East, our focus turns to the NFC West.

Will the 49ers dominate again? Will Geno Smith lead a young Seahawks team to a surprise division title? Can the Cardinals do something good?

Who knows? Not us.

With the upcoming 2023 season in mind, we discuss the state of play in the NFC East.

Will the Eagles reign supreme once again? Can Daniel Jones be more than just "alright"? Will Ron Rivera keep his job and send the Commanders (if they are still called that by the time you read this) to the playoffs?

Good questions, none of which we really know the answer to...

In Paul's continued absence we are joined this week by Hazel, another true rookie who at one point referred to a game as "an episode".

Hazel describes her introduction to the NFL, talks about how the New Orleans Saints "chose her", and waxes lyrical about Taysom Hill.
