Story Transcript:

Ar: في ضاحية هادئة وجميلة، كان سمير يحلم بتحضير حفل شواء لا يُنسى لجيرانه ليلى وعمر.
En: In a quiet and beautiful suburb, Samir dreamed of preparing an unforgettable barbecue party for his neighbors Laila and Omar.

Ar: تحيط منازلهم حدائق خضراء وكلب لطيف يجري هنا وهناك.
En: Their homes were surrounded by green gardens, and a cute dog ran here and there.

Ar: كان سمير متحمسًا جدًا، وجهز شوايته الجديدة في منتصف الحديقة.
En: Samir was very excited and set up his new grill in the middle of the garden.

Ar: في ذاك الصيف الدافئ، قرر سمير أن يُري جيرانه مهاراته في الشواء.
En: In that warm summer, Samir decided to show his neighbors his grilling skills.

Ar: جهز اللحم بأفضل أنواع التوابل التي حصل عليها من السوق.

En: But at the moment he lit the grill, colorful smoke began to rise into the air.

Ar: كان الدخان على شكل قوس قزح، وبدأ الناس في الجوار يلقون نظرة مستفسرة.
En: The smoke took the shape of a rainbow, and people around began giving curious looks.

Ar: شعرت ليلى قليلاً بالحرج لكنها ابتسمت وقالت، "يا له من عرض فني رائع، سمير!" ضحكت وهي تحاول أن تبدو طبيعية.
En: Laila felt a bit embarrassed but smiled and said, "What a wonderful artistic display, Samir!" She laughed, trying to look natural.

Ar: أما عمر، فقد رأى الفرصة سانحة للنكتة، فصرخ قائلاً، "سمير، هل اشتريت الشواية من أمير الخدع؟" واندلع بالضحك.
En: As for Omar, he saw an opportunity for a joke, shouting, "Samir, did you buy the grill from a magician?" and burst into laughter.
