Among the best
I have read many many books on this topic - and have to say that this new title by Seth Balfour is among the best of them. The writing style keeps the readers attention very well. The content is fascinating - very interesting, even if this is not your normal reading area. I have now read my copy through three times. Jake
Book
Good book kept me interested will read more books like that. I liked all the small stories. Thank you. M
Good, short read
Great read. This listed several stories about missing persons. The main thread in these, is that law enforcement did not seem concerned. This book raised more questions about these people.
Interesting and unusual cases
This book consists of several brief accounts of people who apparently vanished and were never seen again. Based on the facts available, it is logical to assume that they were murdered.
Since no witnesses have come forward to provide any clues or leads, there is no starting place for investigation. In one case, it seems that law enforcement authorities did not deem it in their best interests to investigate the case to a conclusion.
100% recommended.
I'm a huge fan of this type of books, those which are based in true stories that represent something important for our society. This book gets your attention since page one and I think that the topic selected by the author is both interesting and alarming. You will find in it a deep look of several disappearance cases and their "mysterious causes", which also makes you think in the fact that these events are really common even nowadays. This is more than a mystery novel, it is an overview of a serious problem that has affected thousands of families around the world. 100% recommended.
