The Dyatlov Pass Incident has been a mystery since it occurred in February of 1959 in the Ural Mountains in Siberia, Russia. There have been numerous scenarios to explain what happened to these 9 hikers. From government weapons testing, to UFOs, to a Yeti attack but could there have been a simpler explanation? Only these 9 hikers would know for sure what really happened to them during that fateful hiking trip. Throughout modern history there have been tales of "mad scientist" or other crazies altering and experimenting with living human specimens. Some of these have been for some twisted purpose and others just because the person doing the experiments was twisted. Could these scenarios explain what people have been encountering for the past 50 years in parts of Ohio, Michigan and Connecticut? What are these creatures that people are seeing in these woods and rural areas? Is there a simple explanation of a disease that has been around for centuries that causes the afflicted to be banished from society? That is until either the unsuspecting or the inquisitive cross paths with these afflicted individuals, resulting in scary tales of monsters or other worldly creatures. Regardless, people are encountering something in these areas and it definitely has the creep meter pegged.

The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is an incredibly beautiful section of the Appalachian Mountain range. The park straddles the borders of Western North Carolina and Eastern Tennessee. The park is over 520,000 acres of largely old growth forest that is dissected by the Appalachian Trail which runs from Northern Georgia to Maine. Although the park is loaded with miraculously beautiful sights literally at every turn, it is a deceivingly rugged land. It is not a place to be underestimated or to explore without the proper preparations. Since its inception the park has attracted all forms of visitors, from the common family outing to the more daring adventure seekers. The park has something for everyone. However, there have been a number of unexplained incidents that have taken place in the park through the years. Some of these have potential explanations while others are completely bizarre and have a more sinister feel. All of these incidents are still open and looking for a resolution or at the minimum...and explanation. Is there something or someone in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that is responsible for these incidents or are they merely a series of unfortunate events?

In school we have all learned about the theories that led to the demise of the dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures. However, did they really all parish during these catastrophic event or events? If sightings through the years are any indication, this may not be the case. Many people claim to have encounters and sightings of various creatures which have been thought to be extinct for many years. Some of these creatures supposedly left this world thousands of years ago. We are going to touch on some of these sightings and some of the creatures that people still have encounters with. Are these creatures still with us or could there be some kind of time slip happening when these creatures are encountered? Regardless of your belief, they are amazing and unexplained!

The Shroud of Turin, is it an elaborate fake or the actual burial cloth of Jesus. Since the shroud has appeared in history these questions have surrounded it. Scientist have studied the shroud multiple times with differing results. However, there is compelling evidence which links the shroud to the time of Jesus, therefore potentially confirming it's authenticity. Unfortunately, questions remain and the window of doubt is still open.

Throughout history there have been tales of giants. As is the case with most fantastical stories there is usually some level of truth to those stories. Giants are no different. From Homer's Odyssey and Cyclops to Goliath of David and Goliath fame to the Kandahar Giant. As with a lot of historical stories there is little evidence outside of oral tradition or in some cases written texts, this is not the case when it comes to giants. With giants we have the pleasure of having skeletal remains. Throughout history there have been countless reports of abnormally and unusually large skeletons, these are the GIANTS!

The Nahinni National Park in the Northwest Territory of Canada is a remote, rugged, beautiful and mysterious place. From sasquatch, UFO's, light anomalies, disappearances and headless bodies, this region has it all. Add to that the unique ecological and geological environment and you have something that is truly extraordinary.

1988 brought some strange times to the sleepy South Carolina town of Bishopville. Out of the warm waters of the Scape Ore Swamp came tales of a creature that would forever rewrite the history of this area and many of it's residents. The Lizard Man is a cryptid straight from science fiction but to those who encountered this scary unknown biped, it was a case of Unexplained Reality!
