Life isn’t always fair…
And deep down, that bothers us. We want justice. We want things to be right. But in Mark 15, we’re confronted with a moment that feels completely backwards.

A guilty man walks free. An innocent man is sentenced to die.

It’s not just unfair…It’s unfair on purpose.

Jesus stands silent while lies are thrown at Him.
Barabbas—the criminal—stands condemned.
And somehow, the crowd chooses to release the guilty and crucify the innocent.
Why? Because this wasn’t a mistake. This was the plan.

Because here’s the truth we don’t always want to face: We are Barabbas.
We are the guilty ones… And yet, because of Jesus, we walk free.

This is the story of the Gospel: The innocent takes our place. The guilty are forgiven.
And what feels unfair… becomes the greatest act of love the world has ever seen.
