For many gay men, Instagram is a place where we feel we belong...whether you’re a teenager still in the closet, a circuit-queen in your late twenties or a Dad showing off your vacation last summer, the ubiquitous photo-sharing app allows people like us a relatively safe space where we can be ourselves, show off who we are and connect with others like us. But so many of us have been seduced by Instagram’s filters that we’re starting to live our gay lives more and more on the app, and less and less in real life. That’s right, in this first-ever episode of Unfiltr’d, we’re unpacking that app we all can’t seem to stop spending all of our time on!
