En: In the heart of Lappi, in a snowy grove, there was a small and cozy cabin.

En: Tall pines stood around it.
Fi: Talven hiljaisuus kietoi mökin pehmeään vaippaansa.
En: The silence of winter wrapped the cabin in its soft cloak.
Fi: Siellä viettivät joululomaansa kolme ystävää: Jari, Aino ja Pekka.
En: Three friends, Jari, Aino, and Pekka, were spending their Christmas vacation there.
