I’m back from yet another plot twist in my career, and today I’m calling out a habit I’m finally breaking: people pleasing. I spent years being who everyone needed: straight-A student, restaurant good girl, realtor with zero boundaries. And when I stopped doing that, some folks got real uncomfortable. Cute.

I’ve been deep in Mastery by Robert Greene, and it hit me that I’ve been in the apprentice phase forever.....learning, studying, being coached, waiting for permission. Not anymore. I’m in my do it my way era.

With AI making information free and everywhere, the only thing that’s actually rare now is your lived experience, your opinions, your spin. That’s the part robots can’t steal. So if you’re feeling the pull to stop copying and start creating, same. Consider this your nudge.
