On this week’s show: Nationals star outfielder Bryce Harper recently turned down $300 million to stay in DC in favor of $330 million to move 150 miles north to Philadelphia. Most professional baseball players don't have to make this kind of agonizing decision; they're located in small towns, they travel around by bus, and no-one is collecting baseball cards with their name and image on them, much less offering them millions to play ball. This week Labor History Today's Patrick Dixon spoke to freelance journalist Michael Arria to learn more about minor league ballplayers and the historical roots of present-day inequities.
